 Hi there,
I am trying to implement the ppp (not pppd) that comes with freebsd and
no matter what I do it always says that there's no entry in the
ppp.secrets file for whatever. Also, I was wondering is there is an easy
way to disable the diagnostic telnet-in port. I have been scouring the net
for more than a week with no luck. I have read the manpages and handbook
up and down and still cant get those two things. If someone could shed
some light on these issues or point me to the definative document on this
it would be *greatly* appreciated.

I have tried in ppp.secret:

<username>	<"">	<IP>
<hostname>	<"">	<IP>
And combonations of the above with a * or plaintext for the password and
no matter what I get the no matching entry error.

Thanks for any help you kind folks can give me,

Jack Patton
